Day Rides
Take a half day or full day horse ride with Bogong Horseback Adventures. Rides leave from their homestead just outside of Mt Beauty. Rides travel through the Kiewa Valley, beautiful tracks of the Alpine National Park, tall mountain forests, fern gullies and river crossings with colourful birdlife, majestic views, lush pastures and a delightful climate. Feel safe and secure with experienced guides and horses to suit riders of all ages. All rides include tuition, hard hats and oilskin coats if required. Prices start from $70 per person.
Luxury Spa/Ride Holidays
Organise a group of friends (6 or more) and have a luxury spa mountain horse ride adventure. Starting at the Bogong Horseback Homestead you ride up into the mountains camping overnight in the rich forest of the Alpine national park. Then ride on to Frueauf village to your luxury accommodation, private spa and massage. From Frueauf you can then day ride into the high country returning each day to your luxury accommodation, spa and massage. Finish your holiday with a journey back down the mountains into the tall forests camping overnight before returning the homestead at Bogong Horseback. Rides can be 4 days (3 nights) or longer. See the high country by horseback with luxury along the way.
Frueauf Village/High Country Split Holidays
For families or groups of people where some love horse riding and others just want a holiday. You can combine a high country ride with Bogong Horseback with a high country luxury holiday at Frueauf Village. The horse riders head of on their 3 or 5 day high country ride while the rest of the group stay at Frueauf Village and enjoy everything that Falls Creek has to offer. You can meet up with the riders via a one hour walk from just out side of Falls Creek at their second night camp. At the end of the ride the whole group can relax with extra nights at Frueauf Village. A great way for everyone to see and experience the high country.
